Pastor Dan Whitford discovered that several members of his congregation had stopped coming to Sunday worship due to their inability to clearly hear during church services. Pastor Whitford made the installation of a hearing loop a priority. My Hearing Loop completed the installation in late 2017. Congregation members who wear hearing aids are pleased with the clarity of spoken word without annoying background noise often experienced by those who rely on hearing aids.
Pastor Whitford noted that the number of visitors who attended worship services went up within 60 days of installing a loop. Visitors indicated that they had heard about the recently installed hearing loop at Blue River UMC which encouraged them to attend worship.
