The church was beautifully and creatively repainted in 2017. A phased array loop was installed under new commercial carpeting in a precisely engineered geometric pattern. Immaculate Conception has high ceilings with Gothic architecture that is spacious and open but creates a highly reverberant listening space. Parishioners with hearing aids and cochlear implants now hear clear concise audio wirelessly without echoes and reflections that hinder intelligibility for those who suffer from hearing loss. Immaculate Conception is the first Catholic Church in SW Wisconsin to install a hearing loop.
